Rachel is an Astanga Vinyasa, Vinyasa Flow, Hatha yoga teacher and Sport and Remedial Massage Therapist,
based in South-East London with classes in Forest Hill (close to Honor Oak, Forest Hill, Catford Crofton Park
and Ladywell railway stations), Herne Hill and East Dulwich and other areas of London.
All levels are welcome as all classes are modified to suit the needs of the students on the day.

What is Yoga?
Yoga is a beautiful science and practice developed and evolved over thousands of years in India,
to help with moral, physical, mental and emotional spiritual growth. Yoga means the yoking or union, of mind,
body and soul. Yoga has more relevance than ever in today's busy world and whether you are drawn to yoga as
a way of keeping your body fit or because of a specific complaint like back ache or tension, or if you are
just looking to get more out of your life; yoga can be a tool or platform in which to receive what you came
for and more.
To understand what yoga is really about, you need to experience it for yourself. Initially it seems to be no more
than a series of strange physical postures, but in time, anyone who continues with regular practice becomes aware
of a subtle change in their approach to life creating a more balanced and harmonised life. Yoga is for everyone
regardless of your age, fitness level or faith.
